Mitja Krzisnik, Rockstar Owner
Mitja Krzisnik is the founder and owner of Rockstar and Angel Investment Company Fliperr.com. He is former owner of World’s largest boat marketplace Sacs Marine, motorcycle marketplace Red Hot Motorcycles and former owner of Luxury Homes Network.
His career began after attending the College of Health Studies in Ljubljana, where he graduated from Prosthetics and Orthotics. During the first five years of his career he worked at a Rehabilitation Institute where supported land mine survivors and worked on development of high-end prosthesis for young amputee athletes. Soon he became head of Research & Development at the largest European direct marketing company called Studio Moderna where he worked for almost 5 years.
In 2001 he opened his first online real estate company called European Luxury Homes, which was later on re-named Luxury Homes Network. The company operated on a referral and membership basis and had over 2500 Real Estate Agents among its members. The Company was sold in 2007 for a record profit and is still one of the leading luxury directories promoting homes from over 70 countries.
In 2005 Mitja founded his greatest accomplishment yet, European brand called Rockstar. At first it was launched as a clothing company and mostly sold their apparel online. Since then the Company has managed to expand throughout Europe, Russia and even parts of Asia to become one of the iconic brands for young and active consumers. The brand is currently expanding further into other areas, such as Bars & Restaurants, Cosmetic, Organization of Music Events, etc and it is scheduled to open a new store with over 300 Rockstar brand products.
In 2010 Mitja founded the Angel Investment Company called Fliperr.com which specializes in online projects and websites. Its primary focus is investing in already established or promising online businesses that have vision and the right ideals so that together they can change and improve the way we all use the internet. The Company is currently working on a new Photo & Video sharing network which will be launched during the late months of 2012.
