Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, Jack Savoretti, returns this fall with his second album, the charmingly titled 'Harder Than Easy'.

Recorded partly in LA at the studio of legend Jackson Browne and, partly in London, it was mixed by Grammy-Award winner Joseph Puig. The result is a work of art full of inspirational soul, rock and blues.  The album takes you on a unique journey, showcasing Jack's remarkable talent.

Harder than Easy follows Jack Savoretti's first album ‘Between The Minds, ’ which debuted in the UK at number 5 on the indie chart, reached number 7 in the Amazon charts and was top 20 in the iTunes chart. 

Radio and music supervisors alike have embraced Jack’s music, which has received unprecedented play on Radio 2 in the UK, was selected for Album of the Week by Radio 2, and was featured on VH1’s top 6 artists with Jo Wiley.  Songs from both albums are featured in One Tree Hill, The Cleaner, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants II, and Jack composed a song specifically for the recently released movie, Post Grad, starring Alexis Bledel, which is featured on the soundtrack along side Lily Allen, The Kooks, Pacifica, and Erin McCarley amongst others.

Says Jack: “This album is the album I wanted to make. Intimate songs about being intimate with someone who is a stranger and then who isn’t. Evocative songs about frustration and sadness and getting through tough times. Spur of the moment but controlled. Getting across the idea that if you are quiet and thoughtful you are often just as angry as those that shout and make a fuss. I called it ‘Harder Than Easy’ because that’s what it, the album, is all about – the moment what you’re doing starts to get harder because when you started, whether its love or music, you weren’t aware of all the obstacles ahead. It seemed easy. Then you find out its not. That’s when it starts to get interesting. I once tended to give up things when they got tough. Not anymore. Not this. This is what I do and I can’t give it up whatever happens.”    

'Harder Than Easy' will be released via De Angelis Records on September 15.
